A warm spring day!
It was a nice day, so after I got out of work I decided to take the girls 5 year pictures. They did great, I just let them play and only posed them a few times. Emma is a pro, she is so natural and just moves with the camera, which is awesome. Grace on the other hand tries to hard. She was never like this and the past year it has become this way. Imagine that, my tom boy is a camera lover. My all time favorite is the barn one. They were waiting for me, and this is what I saw, my all time favorite....

Our new bikes...
For the girls birthday, my mom, Randy, Cory and I took the girls shopping for new bikes and helmets, and this is what they picked.. They are so proud, and LOVE them. It is amazing how well they do on a bike that fits them. Thank you papa & nana for the new bikes.
Pictures will be posted shortly from their bowling birthday party.
April 1st, we turned 5 today...
Yes thats true, they are now 5. I am as shocked as you. It is hard to believe. Well they happened to have school on their birthday and it was also "special persons day." So Papa and Nana went and they did crafts, painting, stories and coloring for the day. I also went along because it was their birthday and we had a birthday
plan for the day...

Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2009

I had the honor of doing hair for children of Celebrities at the 2009 Nickelodeon kids choice awards. It was a day full of adventure. 33 stylists, 350 kids, 1 day.....WOW, thats what I said. I got pink extensions for the day which was a first for me. I met alot of new people, and was part of a fun and talented team of ladies.
Cory and I went out to California 4 days early and stayed in Manhatten Beach. We traveled the Pacific coast highway both south and north, and had some him and I time. It was amazing. We did miss the girls, but having him to myself is an awesome feeling.
The girls stayed with my parents for the weekend. A big THANKS to my sister and Pete....if it wasn't for them we wouldn't be able to go. She gave us a plane voucher to fly us out there.

The Girls

The 9 of us, with baby Austin in the oven.
We try to go annually with Corys side of the family to Great Wolf Lodge. This was our most recent trip. This year was so much fun. Aiden can now do the big tube slides and once he did it, it wa his favorite from then on out. Needless to say we all got a good calf workout from climbing the stairs. The girls are pretty much independent and check in every once in a while. It is fun and sad at the same time. Watching them do it is great, but then the fact that they do it a lone is sad. We also played the most entertaining game of "go fish" you could possibly imagine!

Cooking with KiKi...
My sister as you know is quite the cook (messy one too). Well she recently started selling pampered chef (a perk for me, I love it). So I hosted a party for her last month and the girls got to help Kiki prep the food. Well of course KiKi lets them do more then mommy. They said, Kiki you the best. I love cooking with you.
