I tell you when boys come over to play, weither it be Cole, Sam, Silas, Aiden, PJ, Braden or Ethan. Emma turns into a boy. I swear that girl is going to change oil by the time she is 5. She loves bugs, oil, dirt.....but she also loves tinkerbell, babies, and nailpolish. I dont get it. Ethan (Madelynnes big brother from the next posting) came over to play and she was all in boy mode with balls, boogie monsters, and blocks, while Grace was busy with the baby girl.

Can we keep her?
Corys cousin had a little girl 2 weeks ago, Madelynne. She came to visit us the other day while her mommy got her hair done. Grace is little miss mother hen who LLOOVVEESS babies. Well it was time to go ( a few hours later) and Grace was holding her. Grace looks up at me with the cutest, sweetest little sad face and says Mommy, "can we keep her?" I of course had to tell her "no", but then I continued and said "You need to talk to your dad about that one!"

Are we Baking or Eating, that is the question?
Thursdays is our baking, cleaning, laundry stay in our pajamas day.
The girls new love happens to be cooking and baking, they love to help me. Aunt Kiki got them their own aprons for Valentines day, we had to use the new aprons. The problem is my kids spend more time licking the bowl and the beaters when they should be cooking with me. They are just like their Nana. They are never hungry when it comes time to eat because they always eat while they cook. In this episode of baking we were making ice cream sandwich dessert (which is a killer by the way, thanks Jen for the recipe.) They wanted to eat all the sandwiches and cool whip and not make the dessert with me. They did make it through of course with a few pit stops along the way.
Happy Valentines Day (a little late)
HAPPY VALENTINES DAY
I am a few days late, but better late than never. I got a really cut card from our friends in Ohio. It had a picture of their son with a bunch of carnation hearts surrounding him, so me in photo mode, decided I should try it. Well I should have done it earlier rather than later in the day. It might have gone a little better for me. They still turned out cute, besides the rosey cheeks. Thank you Rachel for the cute idea.
I was having an "ON" day....
These pictures reminded me of my good ole' UPDO days at Panopoulos. When I worked there I loved doing updos, and everyone knew it. I always did a lot of the brides from work and their bridesmaids. Somedays I was "ON" (meaning I was doing good hair), and some days I was just having down right "OFF" (not good hair) days, afterall we all have them. The girls at work always hoped I was having an "ON" day the day they got married. So they would do little things for me to make sure I would have an "ON" day....like.....bringing me a fountain Mt. Dew in the morning, maybe a doughnut or a bagel, good stuff like that (my favorites and they know it.) Well I had a "ON" day last week with a friend of mines daughter. Yes it was good hair (I must say.) Yes... I still got it, an "ON" hair day. I sure miss them girls when I have moments like this. OOhh well, now I just tell my husband and girls instead.
Look for the red dot....
In these pictures we were experimenting with Cory big $2.99 purchase from Meijer, a laser pointer. I can't complain, this kept him busy (and being naughty at the same time) during a recent grocery shopping trip to Meijer.
He was chasing the girls in the basement and told them to follow the red dot, well... to 3 year olds this was quite amuzing.
So why not try something interesting. My camera has a sport mode that will take a picture up to 3 seconds after I shoot it. Cory would say Go, I would take a picture while he did something crazy with the laser pointer. In one of the pictures he drew a bunch of circles on the door, in the second picture he decided to draw a smiley face while I shot the picture, and it worked. It is amazing what cameras can do these days, especially if the operator knows her camera.
Coupon Cutting Sunday...
We have a new Sunday night ritual at the Rose house now. ( We had to come up with something with all this cold weather.) So I would go through all the ads on Sunday, read the paper and then look through the coupons for the week ahead. In the other room.... my daughters were fighting over who was going to cut out what pictures with their new child safety scissors. So I thought, Why not let them cut out the coupons? Cory and I did a few to show them how to cut along the lines, and then they took over. It takes them about an hour to cut them all out, and along the way they would find some fun stuff they would like to buy. So we have been doing this every Sunday for the past 4 weeks. The girls see the Sunday paper and say "Yeah, it is coupon cutting day!" Wow I wish I was that excited over paper, scissors, and coupons!
I will smile for you mom.....
The girls were in their jammies one night and they just started acting like they were getting their picture taken ( they were mockin me, it seemed) I thought forget this.... they are mocking me, I am going to get the camera and take pictures. I came down with the camera, and they say "I will smile for you mom!"

Beauti Control....
I am offering a Beauti Control SPECIAL to everyone that reads my BLOG. I have starter kits available in all skin care lines with a supply of about 4 weeks of at home trial. I am offering the starter kits for $10. If you like them and decide to order a full size skin care line, I will refund your $10 and put it towards the new full size line. So a free trial for you. The products range about $16-$19 for the cleansers, toners & moisturizers. The full size prodcuts last about 3 months. So if you add it up it is about $5-$6 a month per product.
I think that is reasonable considering we only have one face, why not pamper it? Think of it this way........ We spend $3 on a gallon of gas that can last 30 minutes on the road.
Contact me @ LARScoobydoo@msn.com if you have any questions or are interested.
