Daddys nose....

Cory had his sinus surgery on Friday, and while he is TRYING to recover, it is not going so well. He is having a lot of pressure and is very uncomfortable (which is understandable). Emma decided she wanted to make daddy a "feel better card", and it couldn't be any cuter if you ask me. She did a perfect circle with eyes, nose and a mouth. Then she added on all daddys bandages to match his face right now. Needless to say we thought it was priceless. It is now in her baby book with a note attached to what this picture meant to her on this day.

My new ride.....

Moms new Acadia...
Cory already put our "Team Arctic" sticker on it after day 2....

Well the time has come to say goodbye to the blazer, and Cory couldn't be happier. We have wanted an Acadia for a long time now and the timing just hasn't been right (when is there ever right timing?) Well it is now. The blazer needed a lot of work, and was not going to be good this winter to pull the snowmobiles, so we bit the bullet and went for it. We looked around at a few things and just kept going back to our original plan. This has everything we wanted except a sun roof, and that is okay with me. The girls love the DVD system in it, it is just like papas truck. I love that it has 3rd row seating, and Cory loves that it is AWD. The best thing is it has a great gas average for an SUV, which was important to Cory. We are enjoying it very much......

car line up.....

We were at the cabin, having breakfast and visiting. We look and find the girls taking ALL there cars and they are making a car race. It started in the living room, through the kitchen and ended up in our bedroom. They had 122 cars in this line up.... They were so proud.

Car ride home.....

After a long weekend away, whether it be the cottage or cabin, this is what you see when you look in our back seat......
2 girls passed out....
2 boyz passed out....
I think we can say "TIRED!"

weekends @ the cottage

Well our summer time is coming to and end, and it is now time to put away the boats and Sea Doo for the season. We had a lot of LONG weekends there this year. In the past Cory and the girls would go up with my parents on Fri. nights and I would meet up there Sat. after work, well now that I am my OWN boss, I only work 1 Sat. a month (sometimes 2 in the fall and winter) and it is AWESOME! Grace has become a huge fan of jumping of the boat and it is a legend every night before we go to bed up there. We have dinner, the guys fish a little and then we take a pre-bedtime swim. It cools the girls down and relaxes us all.

67 firebird project

Here it is, my husbands 30th b.day present from the 3 girls in his life. I have been working on it for a while and he finally go it this weekend. A few months late, but it was in the works. A retired lawyer was taking his merry ole' time with the title. It is a "project" thats for sure, but it sure will look good when it is done. It is a 5 year goal, but he wants it "pure stock." It will look sharp ast the end. I am even going to do it with him.....

First Day of school

The girls first day of school was Sept. 3rd. They go M W F and it is a nice little break, they love it and I love it. They are learning new things already, the most impressive.....the pledge of allegience. It is so cute to hear them say it. They got to pick out there back packs for school as well as their "first day outfits." They are loving it, and it is just one of many "new" things to come.
