These were my two favorite shots. There was a path at the park that lead into the woods, which was perfect because there was no wind back there along the path. The group lined up to make it look like they were walking the path. I don't know what it is, but I love these shots!

Wedding bliss...
I had the opportunity to shoot my first official wedding. I have helped with some, and shot on the side, but I have never done one by myself, thank you Brian and Amanda for giving me the opportunity. The weather was great ( we were suppose to have rain), it was windy at times, but I can handle that. They were a great group to work with, I was a little bossy, but I had to get the
job done and I did it fast, so everyone was happy. I think they will be impressed. I shot about 400 proofs for them, not too bad for my first time.

Captured shots. I had a little time while the girls were getting ready so I did some shots of the "little things."

Corys Surprise 30th
SURPRISE. He was gone all day golfing with Randy, Pete and gpa Kimbler
Well his birthday is next Thur the 3rd, but we did it a few weeks early to surprise him. We threw Cory a surprise 30th last weekend, it was a blast and very memorable. We had about 75 adults and 18 kids here, yes all at our house. We had Corys parents and Steve DJ, my sister and Pete catered the meal for us, we had a texas hold em tournament and rented a gymnastics bus for the little ones. It was a great night, awesome weather and a lot of fun. Enjoy the pictures.

Lilly

This little girl is 3 years old, and was such a bundle of joy to follow around the yard. It is a client of mines, daughter. I love shooting pictures at home now, instead of going places, thanks to my new path. I just followed her around and snapped a few photos and then did some contrasting shots with the flowers. They also did family pictures as well.

Shane Thomas
a hot day at home...
Home....I love being home. Today was 84 and humid, so I dug out the pool and the girls new hopscotch princess sprinkler. They loved it, and I can see how much they will want to play in that this summer.
In the mean time the Schwanns truck came through, which I was excited about for popsicles, fruit and ice cream. They are pretty reasonable on food as well. Sometimes when you don't feel like doing a full meal they have a lot of good stuff. So we are now on there route every 2 weeks. We got there red, white and blue popsicles, strawberry frozen fruit bars, frozen fruit package, a pizza and there orange swirl ice cream and it was only $27. As they were driving away the girls screamed...."bye-bye food boys!" (HAHA) I couldn't help but laugh. The girls then sat down together and asked if they could try a new "cool down treat?"
Happy 13th Anna!
This is Anna. Anna is my neighbors niece. She turned 13 a few weeks ago, so her aunt treated her to a haircut, make-up and picture day. She was a great guinea pig for me in my new photo room. Lynne said just snap a few pictures so I can get a recent photo of her, well about 75 pictures later I am still shooting photos. I was experiencing with my lighting/props and photo path. The outdoor pics are along my path, which I love! Thanks Anna for being patient with me.
6/7/2008 STORM...
It was a beautiful day. I worked, had an open house at night and on the way home it got dark. We started to hear a little thunder and then saw some lightning. I am usually the photo person in this house, but with storms I'd rather not, but that is Corys favorite thing. So he grabbed the tripod and camera and this is what he got from our garage. We then went inside to see the radar and boy were we in for it. About 6-7 inches later, a swingset area with floating bark, and a photography path covered in water, wow it was a night. It since then has gone down and back to normal, thank goodness! Back to the pictures...... we wanted to send them into wood TV8, but the satelitte was done because of the bad weather. So this is all Corys work!
can we help?
With a husband who is anal about his yard and two little girls who like to help him ( or hang out with him) it makes lawn mowing quite the process, especially when our yard is huge and gets done twice a week these days. So... Cory came up with a remedy. He attaches the yard cart to the back of the mower, sets in an old bed comforter, gives the girls a snack and they love it. During this time I have about 1 hour and 15 minutes to myself. What do I do? One of the nigths I am usually doing hair, and the other night I usually do poop patrol before he mows, then I pull a few weeds, swing on my new swing (thanks dad & connie, I love it) or just watch them. As you can see by the pictures this is how it usually ends, with a nap! How they can fall asleep with all the bumps, turns and grass on them is beside me, but they do!
