Great Message!

A friend of mine (Jess) is getting married in a few weeks and I got an invitation to her shower today and it had a great message on it that I had to share!

Marriage is not a ritual or an end.
It is a long, intricate, intimate dance together,
and nothing matters more than your own sense of balance, and your choice of Partner.

Time with the boyz!

The girls have been spending a lot of time outside as well as the boyz too. So why not play together. The boyz were playing tug of war with their new Mickey Mouse tire we got them on our trip to Florida (which is now in shreds, and yes we got them a gift on our trip!) Gracie was given Titan a little love, and Emma was commanding Bluez to sit if he wanted his tire, the question is, Did he listen? Yes, actually this time he did. The Boyz are starting to realize the girls aren't so bad, they feed them, give them treats, get to be outside more because we are outside, get to go to the cottage because we do, life ain't so bad for these 2 Great Danes!

Can't help these eyes!

I had the camera out and she was in on of those silly moods saying, "mommy take my picture!" She has the most stunning green/hazel eyes these days! When she was little her and her sister both had the biggest blue eyes ever, as did I when I was little, and over time they turned hazel too. Emma still has those knock you out blue eyes, which I adore, but there is just something about Gracies eyes! What can it be?

Do you notice my sparkle?

I had the camera out and Emma wanted me to take a pic of her new sparkle in her ear! Yes, we did get the girls ears pierced and I love it!

Sassy & Chic

Well I thought I would take the girls 3 year pics myself, and I did, but I still missed my photographer doing them. He has done them since the girls were born, and it is a yearly thing, so I broked down and took them today for their 3 year pics, and they turned out great! Suprisingly, the girls loved him this year. I thought they were lookin' pretty darn cute this morning (they always are cute) but this was an exception. I decided to funk up their hair a little bit and go for the "Sassy & Chic" look this year. Well..... I got out my camera before we left (just for a few shots of my own) and this is what I captured. Just when I want someone else to take pics for me, my camera comes out and they turn out just the way I want them too. Well Dave at McConomy Photography is an awesome guy and has always done a great job, so we will let him do the yearly pics and I will do everything in between! I told Dave I have been doing photography and he was very supportive and gave me a lot of good advice & tips..... ENJOY the pics of my "Sassy & Chic" girls.

Crazy Cousins!!!!

They don't get together as much as we would like them too, but when they do it sure gets CRAZY! We went to Great Wolf Lodge ( again....) this time with my Mom and Randy. We met Pete, Nikki and the kids there for the weekend. Emma and PJ are inseperable buddies and Grace likes to think Katie is her baby doll, so with the 4 of them it works out great. It does get a little Crazy with 4 kids under the age of 3 in one hotel room, but if you ask my Mom and Randy, "life doesn't get much better than that!"

Added note: It was my moms 50th birthday this past weekend so we went to the water park and wore her out! Thank you AFLAC and Papa & Nana for the wonderful weekend.

Double Troubles time with bubbles

Corys mom watched the girls a few weeks ago so I could go spend some time with my Grandma and do her hair. I usually take the girls with me (you know how older people love kids), but it was going to take a little longer this time, so they spent the afternoon with Nana. They love baths and always get to take baths at her house with lots of BUBBLES. We have BUBBLES at home, but not this many..... Maybe because they have their own bathroom at home and it is so much cooler to use a different tub every once in a while, afterall, Mom is "stingy" with her bath tub, but if I get reactions like this, maybe I will share my tub with them too, maybe!

Great time @ The Great Wolf Lodge

We spent last weekend with Corys family at The Great Wolf Lodge to celebrate Corys parents "30th" Wedding Anniversary. We weren't sure how the girls would do for a whole weekend, but when they didn't want to leave that answered our question for us. They had a GREAT time there. Grace loved pulling the rope and soaking people (especially daddy.) Emma learned the warning bell for the dumping bucket very quickly, as it goes off every 5 minutes. She wouldn't want to got "UNDER" it, but she loved to go "NEXT" to it, so she would get a little wet, but not dumped on. She thought it was pretty cool. So after a while it became quite the work out so we all took turns taking her to the bucket. It was not busy at all, so we never waited to go onto a ride. We look forward to going back again..... in about 3 weeks. Papa has an AFLAC getaway, and it would be silly for us NOT to go with him! Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad we hope you had a great Weekend.
