Mommy and her girls...

Ok... so you see a lot of pictures on my BLOG, but not a lot of me. Cory took over the camera for a day and I finally got to be in a few pictures with my girls. We were playing around in the living room, and daddy happened to capture it. He did pretty good, I just had to do a little editing.
My girls are just like me, in so many ways it is scary. We have had a good couple of weeks, with a lot of one on one time....with coloring, reading and baking. It makes the day a lot easier if I include them in everything, and as you can see by their SMILE, they like it too. So today (SUNDAY) was a mommy and daughter afternoon (while daddy worked on the car), we did everything listed above and it was great for them (and me too.)

I want to ride in my daddy's Trans Am

Cory went to his annual Trans am nationals in Dayton, Ohio in August (over our anniversary..every year...) and this is what he came home with. Look at the writing on the shirt. Of course.... I didn't get a shirt, but atleast I knew he was thinking of his baby girls. They were so proud to wear these shirts for their daddy!

are they BLUE or is it the shirt?

Emma has the biggest bluest eyes I have ever seen (besides my niece Katie) but they look exceptionally BLUE in this photo. I can't help it, she is so darn cute. When she wants to ham it up for the camera she will, but when she doesn't want to take pictures or smile you will know. Well this picture says it all, she was in a ham bone mood (as papa would say!)

No, I want the last bite!

My husband and I went to a wedding a few weeks back. It was so nice, a wedding where we could just be a guest and have fun, with no duties. Cory was the only guy to hang out with all the Panopoulos girls (he loved that). Well anyways, they had a cheesecake bar instead of cake. We both liked the key lime cheesecake and there was only one bite left.... so we shared it, now that is love....

a piece of them on me!

OK, so I have to post my new addition to myself. I know some of you don't like tattoos, but this one has a meaning that is 100% me and always will be. When I found out I was having twins I got a subscription to the TWINS magazine. The front cover of the magazine as the W in twins is this symbol. Two hearts joined together to make one. I loved it, and wanted to do something with it, but what? Well about 3 years later I decided I wanted it as a tattoo. So I thought about it, and have wanted it for about a year now, and thought ok, enough is enough just do it. So I did. I got it on my foot, and it is Pink for Grace and Purple for Emma, and when the two hearts meet together it is a combo of both colors. I got it about 2 weeks ago, and it is about 90% healed now. I love it! Now my girls walk with me everywhere I go and always will.

Great Gift.....

OK, so I had this great idea. I have a friend that I use to work with at Panopoulos named Susan ( Hi Susan I know you will read this...) who had a little boy a few months ago. I shot her pregnancy pics along with her sons 3 month pics and baby parts. So I got this cool idea. Why not make a collage out of it. So I made an 8x10 layout with my editing program and designed this collage for her. I had it printed and framed it in a funky black frame for her baby gift. Priceless. I loved the way it turned out and I think she will too. So I am going to do a huge 20x24 collage of the girls ( then....now...) and put pics of them back then and how they are now. I am telling you something... my love for photography is getting pretty close to my love for hair, if not passing it. I love being behind my chair, but I love being behind my camera just as much. I never thought that would happen. Thank you honey for my camera....I LOVE IT!

10 new things......

A friend of mine did a BLOG posting (that she got from someone else as well) on 8 new things you might not know about me, that you do know now. I thought it was pretty neat, and I know her pretty well and I only knew 2 of the 8 things she listed... So here are my 10 things you might not know about me, but you do now!

#1. When I was in 2nd grade my favorite movie was "The Christmas story" and if you have seen that movie, he sticks his tongue to a pole when it is freezing outside, well I thought I would try it too, and I did, and the movie was right, it does stick. OUCH!

#2. I won a car on "the price is right" while on my honeymoon.

#3. I stole chap stick from a pharmacy when I was a little girl, and my mom made me return it and apologize to the store lady. She is always making me do things the right way!

#4. I love to clean and organize. Yes, that is right clean and organize. Especially when I am stressed or bored.

#5. I have 3 tattoos. My latest is the TWIN symbol on the top of my left foot. It is really cute and meaningful, as I have twins.

#6. I love garlic & beans (any type of beans!) Sorry Cory, this can cause a problem at night time.

#7. I have a half brother that lives in Texas ( that also has two little girls) that is 10 years older than me. I haven't seen him since 1996.

#8. I use to roller skate at Tarry Hall every Fri. and Sat. b/w the ages of 10-14. I was also on the speed team. That is where my mom met Randy.

#9. I met my husband at Target in Jenison while in a job interview. We did our job training together. At the time he had a girlfriend, but it didn't take long for him to like me! I invited him to an Alabama concert with me, and we were friends from that day on, and now he is my best friend, lover and the daddy to our little girls. Thank you Target!

#10. Target is my favorite store. I believe there is a $50 cover charge just to get in. HAHA!

Can you say.... SEAWEED!

This is my favorite masque of all times. It is the Seaweed Masque by Beauti Control. It is a pure detox for the face, and it is amazing. It brings all the impurities to the surface as it dries. So if you are one of those people that likes to actually "SEE" results you can see them in this masque as it dries. It is fun. It goes on bright green and as it dries it turns to a sage color. If you would like to try it, let me know. It is $35, and you get about 15 masque applications in a bottle. If you go the salon it is about $50 for the one time facial. This also works great on the body as a scrub!

Dancing Divas'

The girls first day of dance was this past Wednesday, and they loved it. They were both grinning from ear to ear. The class is an hour long and they do tap, ballet & a mix of jazz and hip hop. The studio is bright pink (as you can see in the pics), Graces favorite color. I was so excited to see their faces glow as they took this class with 5 other little girls. I think it will be a good thing for them to do, and to socialize them. My Dancing Divas are on their way to a lot of years of fun. The best part is at the end of the year I get to do the funky hair and make up for their recital. Yes, I know, I'm a 100% "girly mom!"

Do you see what I see?

My little girls love to look in the mirror after they get there hair done, of course to see what mommy did to them today! This is a little "REFLECTION" of what they see. It just happened to be that I had my camera out at the same time, lucky me.
