I came back from doing a few photo shoots on Sunday and decided I was still in photo mode, so why not take advantage of it on a 65 degree sunny Sunday. So I got the girls all dressed up, did their hair, had daddy make a leave pile and decided to take their fall pics. Daddy did not feel like getting his pics done (what guy ever does), so I did just the girls. We usually have them done as a family every year, it just hasn't worked out yet. I will just have to pur-sway him to do them soon. In the mean time these turned out awesome. My little girls have grown into little ladies.... all legs & no waist, beautiful smiles, gorgeous eyes, and still with attitude behind all that..... I can't help but love them! These are the 2 little things that have kept me smiling the last 2 weeks as I struugle to decide what is right for my family. I look at them and realize life is about a lot more than all this stress.

Cowboy boots & Catepillars

These were a few of fun shots I took as taking the girls fall pics this weekend. The cowboy boots were a gift from Daddy when he went on a road trip with his mom last winter to Arizona. Then the girls found a catepillar and had some fun with it, so I captured the moment. I love the way they turned out. Enjoy!
Then there was Libby!
We did the girls annual Fall pictures this weekend, and we decided to do them at home since our yard is so nice now. Man, I missed my yard at the old house until now. It is starting to look perfect these days. Of course my husband is anal about it. Anyways.... kids get there pictures taken with there friends all the time, well Libby is one of there best friends, she just happens to be a dog. So we took a picture of the girls and Libby. Our neighbors don't have children (well they didn't until a year ago) so these girls are the light of their life. So we decided to do a "family" picture and it turned out perfect. And yes, it is already printed and up in their house.

sissy, are you sleeping?
We were at a party last weekend, and it was kid friendly. We brought the girls. They have never really gone to a wedding reception with us before, so they are not use to seeing Papa DJ a wedding. Well this wasn't a wedding. It was a suprise party for my friends mom, and Corys parents DJ'd it for us ( thank you M&D Rose.) The girls had sooooo much fun. We got there at 6:30. Emma was passed out in this chair at 9:45. Sleeping to blasting loud music and screaming people, can you say "TIRED!" Grace on the other hand never stopped until we got in the car to go home and that was at 11:45. She complained the next day that her legs were sore, well YEAH honey, you danced for 5 hours straight.
The 6 of us...

This group photo is Cory and I with my two best friends (and their husbands) from high school, Lizz & Steph ( AKA "Clark" to me). We go way back from bowling as kids, eating melted cheese with sprinkles, to dancing at the high school dances, raising kids together and enjoying our adult time. We were at a suprise party for lizzs' mom last weekend. We danced the night away (so did all the kids). Still after all these years, some things never seem to change. We laugh about the same things, talk about the same things, cry about the same things, and we wouldn't change it for anything. What can Thanks for the great night...... What can I say we are the "crazateers."
Winter ahead!!!
Do you have the cute little "WINTER" hat with matching gloves for the "little" ones in your life. Corys mom made about 150 hats with matching glove sets for all ages of boys and girls. She sells them for $10 a set. There is about 25 different patterns. Some pull on style and some velcro under the chin style. They are super cute. I think I have already sold 16 sets for her. Once you see them, they are 100% cuter than anything in the stores. People will stop and ask you where you got them. If your interested let me know!
Tea for "2" anyone!
This is the girls first Tea Party together, and they had a blast. Grace had one by herself a few weeks ago (sissy was asleep at the time), so she wanted to have one with her sissy. I tought them how to stick out their pinky, say "tea for 2", give the "cheers" tap and then swallow the tea. They loved it and did it for about 45 minutes (they were a little wet afterwards from spilling the tea). This is my new fast way to clean the house distraction.

Should I stay or should I go....
So this is an entry like no other. I send this BLOG out to a select list with a few of my friends and family. In that list their is someone that I thought I could trust and I guess I can't. If it is who I think it is just remember, I have never hurt any of you and now I am hurting like I have never hurt before. I do this BLOG to express to my family and friends what is going on in my family life and to share it with others. Apparently I can not have a personal life that is accepted by my employer. Some how thorugh my chain of friends my boss got the BLOG adddress. I have ventured onto a dream with my mom about 8 months ago. Something with her, to make her happy. Now wouldn't you do this for your mom? I enjoy "HELPING" her and "COACHING" her to something in life that makes her happy. She has spent her whole life making everyone else happy and so why can't I do this for her. Because it is conflict of interest. I am a hairdresser, and I am sorry, but I am damn good at it too. I have been with the company for 10 years (next month). I have been at the front desk, ran the salon for 2 1/2 years, was Chairman of Salon source, head mentor, went from a level 1 to a level 6 in 3 1/2 years, filled in when necessary, and always on top of things. I love my boss and have a high amount of respect for her, but I have never been more hurt than I am today. I was asked to choose b/w two things in life. My love for hair, or my love to help my mom. I love hair, I have a passion for it, and everyone who knows me knows I thrive for it and enjoy every minute of it. I love my mom and helping her. I enjoy the at home "SPA" atmoshpere along with the products. I guess it is hard for me to understand. I am trying to do what is best for my family, and they don't understand. I have never let them down in the "client" aspect. I have tried to help a few clients in a financiel bind, that was not accepted either. They won't let me go when they know I have a salon in my home and have for a year, but they will let me go because I want to help my mom with a little make-up and skin cremes. At Panopoulos I excel in retail of hair products (in the top 5 every month) and my clients are used to that. I don't excel in the other area. So if I excel in the other area my retail in the hair area will slow down. I believe I have been there for a long time and I am good at alot of things. I would work on the people who need help in every area and help them excel and let this girl continue to excel at what she is good at. The truth is if I wanted to leave and take everyone with me I would have done that a year ago when I moved into my new home, but I didn't. I have been a great employee who goes the extra mile, I am appreciative for all they have made of me, and for making me a great hairdresser. I would not take anything back of the last 10 years. I have made a lot of new friends along with their families. I will have a lot of time to think this weekend, and I will leave it all in Gods hands and pray he will lead me to a decision I will feel great about. The question is should I stay or should I go? Lord please guide me!

Watch Day
The first Wed. of the month is "watch Day" at Emma & Graces' dance class. So I went yesterday. I was wondering how they would do with me watching them in the room. They were great, it was as if I wasn't even there. Emma sometimes is in her own little world doing her own thing. Grace on the other hand is hamin' it up and is always volunteering when the teacher ask. They do a lot in 1 hour at this class, and it is a great group of girls. They do dice time were they practice the five steps in ballet. They each take turns rolling a big cloth pink dice. The number on the dice 1-5 that they roll they have to do the ballet step that matches the number they roll. If they get a 6 they get to pick which step they want to do. My girls did pretty good (as you can see by the last 2 pictures) besides a little arm and foot placement help, they did have the right idea. They do some tumbling, shuffle bar time, ballet and animal actions. It is a lot for these little girls, but it is great to see that they enjoy it so much.
Imagination gone creative (part 2) ...
Ok... (sorry Grace) so we were so excited about Emmas little drawing that Grace felt left out. We were helping her draw a few people pictures, and that was good for her, she felt included. We sat down... we were all done... and Grace says, Mommy, you no take my picture yet! So I did. Although the drawing of the picture wasn't as exciting her smile picture was.
Imagination gone creative...
Daddy was sitting on the couch watching TV and Emma walks up and says "Daddy I draw you."
Now yes she is only 3, but if you look close.... there is a circle for a head, and then a line for a neck, another cirlce for the body, and 4 lines for the arms and legs. It isn't perfect, but she has the right idea. I didn't show her this, nor has she ever done this before, so yes her imagination has gone creative. We were so proud and excited I had to get the camera and take a picture.
