going to the chapel.....

Well our wedding days are over, and all of our friends are now married, unless we meet some new friends over the years. The wedding was last Friday a perfect day for a wedding. Well Of course the brides hair was beautiful (go me, HA, HA), I am never lacking in the hair department. I did my own hair, no time for an appt. that morning. We went in style with Corys car, and yes he took the t-tops out for the ride from the wedding to the reception (which was at the Eberhard center behind Van Andel museum) and my hair didn't move an inch. It was nice being in a wedding with my husband at the church we were married at almost 7 years ago.

We've got the itch...

Swimmers itch.... no fun. We have never had a problem with this at the cottage, but the girls didn't want to stay out of the water when daddy was cleaning up the beach last weekend, and let me tell you it was not fun! Emma was 90% worse then Grace. She woke up looking like a polk -a -dotted princess. So she lived on hydrocortizone and benedryl for 5 days. She still has scabs and it has been 10 days. Emma is just more suseptable to it. She walks around saying to us " we don't want to do that again, do we!"

Girls after these mans hearts!

OK..... so fishing might not be Graces thing, but she tries. Emma on the other hand now likes to release them after daddy catches them, yes, she actually touches them. It won't be long and I am going to have to buy those Barbie or Scooby Doo beginner fishing poles for her. She would love it, but daddy says a few more years, I think not! Of course the guys love it that the girls like fishing.

Grass time...

It didn't take too long. We have grass now. I didn't know how much I missed grass until I didn't have it. Now we (the neighbors too) have to mow 2 times a week, and believe it or not I actually have been mowing it while the girls play in the pool. I have hit a few sprinkler heads along the way, and have had to replace them, but atleast it is getting mowed. That way all Cory has to do is weed-wack and blow off the driveway. Yes, anal me does not like grass on her driveway. It looks good, and we only lost 3 landscaping plants from last fall.

cute shot...

You know me, the paparazzi.... We were at a birthday party, and my friend Rachelle has 2 boys so a moment with 2 girls is priceless! They love her to pieces so that helps too. Maybe a girl wouldn't be so bad Rachelle!

A girls night out!

I always do an entry about the kids, the dogs or my hubby, so this time I decided to do an entry about my girls night out. My friend (Jess) is getting married this Fri. and we had her shower and bach party all in one day last weekend. Cory and I are both in the wedding (which will probably be our last wedding we will be in, since all our friends are married now.) I set them up on a blind date 4 years ago, and I must be quite the matchmaker, because they are getting married. GO ME! We got her a singing fairy and an infiniti Limo (talk about going in style.) She doesn't drink, so why not embarass her and have transportation in style. And of course I am doing the hair on the wedding day. I don't get dressed up to often with 2 kids, but there were no kids this night, YEAH!

AFLAC X4

When the girls were "1" I had there 1 year pics taken with the AFLAC duck for PaPas office, since then we have had 2 new additions to the family, and since we were all together yesterday I decided to take a "challenge"..... Get a new photo for Papas office with all his babes!
Task1: Go to the mall with 4 kids under the age of 3 to shop!
Task2: Find 4 corresponding outfits to match the AFLAC Duck
Task3: Get all 4 kids ready for Pictures
Task4: Get them all to cooperate without pulling my hair out, which I did, but I did break a photographer sweat by acting silly and dancing....
I didn't think I did to bad, what do you think! GO ME! This will be his new wall photo in a 16x20 Gallery Wrap ( my 1st one, I am so excited to see it)
