Glamour Girls

Well it won't be long for the Glamour to kick in, thanks to Aunt KiKi... The girls have new crowns, earrings, and necklaces (and they even blink red, YIPEE!) The funny thing is... those earrings were pretty heavy for their little ears, and they wore them for a long time!

Girls weekend out...

Well it is that wonderful weekend of the year where my sister, mom and I head for our "girls weekend out." I am not sure if it is the weather, the girls or just the fact that it has been a busy couple months, but man am I ready.... My girls have been sick with RSV for 9 days ( 95% better now) Cory has a bad sinus infection and upper respitory issues, and well me, Miss Sicky when I was little is still healthy, imagine that! We have had a lot of transitions in our house in the last few months, taking away the binkys (cold turkey), potty training (all done), and taking the rails of their beds (have only fell out twice since).... I am so excited to spend the weekend away with a little shopping, good food, spa fun and a little bit of hot tubbing. Thank you Cory for letting me have a weekend away!

A Dance With Daddy....

I Tell Cory to enjoy this while he can. Before long he won't be able to lift them together. Whenever the song "I loved her first" comes on the radio they stop everything they are doing to dance with daddy. So I got out the camera for this priceless moment. Before you know it he will be dancing to this song with two beautiful girls in white dresses, I don't think he is quite ready for that moment.

Rub-a-dub-dub-twins in the tub!

Bath time.... It usually takes an hour. They love it. Their mind goes into imagination mode. It is amazing with what they come up with. Was I this creative when I was little?

So what is Running With Scissors.....

After being on the computer daily for the past few years, and sending out a monthly update of what has been going on in our home I decided why not "run with it" and try a blog.

There are days when you just have to tell someone something and why not tell it in a blog. I have a few friends who do it with updates of a funny story, crazy things their kids have done, a good recipe, a new birth in the family, or just have to tell a story about a night lacking in sleep, so why shouldn't I try it.

If I am not running with my TWIN girls, running with my Great Danes, or running with my husband, I am probably "RUNNING WITH SCISSORS" in my Salon....
