like daughter, like baby!

For Christmas the girls got new babies. Nana made them all new clothes to go with their babies, this is one of the sets that they got. They got new PJs and each set has a matching set for their baby, so they can match at night, so not only do I have to get 2 kids dressed in jammies at night, but 2 babies as well, it's like baby twins all over a gain, a little much for me.

hubby boon dockin'

Well sometimes the boys just have to play. When I go riding with my hubby it is trail riding. When my hubby rides with my brother in law it is boon dockin' time. When the wifes away the boys play. He learned a few new tricks last weekend. I must confess he looks pretty hot in his monster gear, that matches his sled. He also looks good doing all the tricks, and I KNOW he is careful with Pete or his buddy Chad. I got the new riding gear for Christmas that is similar to his but hot pink, black and silver. I just need a sled now, next winter.

The family photo 2008

This year we celebrated Christmas with Corys family over New Years Eve, then followed by a night of activities. They played pool, darts (emma is a pro), they played with all the new baby clothes, and then they cuddled up on the bed in the kids room and watched a movie. We played adult scene it DVD game, and then rang in the new year. It was a lot of fun, the kids were troopers and made it until 12:30 and then were done. They didn't wake up until 11:00 the next day, which was nice.

A few views of the CHRISTmas season at our house...

Our tree this year with a blue and silver theme.....The girls and their SANTA plates. We made these a month before Christmas with my friend Lizz and her kids, Paige and Cole. It was definitely an experience, and we will keep them for a long time. PS Santa loved the cookies!

Our Christmas star, Cory and I got this the year before we were married at Pottery barns after Christmas sale, it is our 9th year with it, and it always looks brand new. Cory polishes it every year before it goes up.

Our Christmas card posing with my glass ornaments, and bells.

The 4 crazy kids....

This was our Christmas gathering with Emma and Graces friends, Sam and Silas.

These 4 have an amazing bond that only they understand.

Christmas with Lynne

As you know by knowing me, one of my dearest friendships is with my neighbor Lynne. We have only known eachother for 2 years and it feels like forever. I respect her more and more everyday, and appreciate all her and Steve have done for my family. (I am a little sap today). Well this is our Christmas day with her. This year we did it on a Fri (snow day from school). We had breakfast and did presents all in our PJ's. I got a really cool vase from Pier 1 and I gave her a old fashioned lemonade maker, and of course she spolied the girls. They got a cupcake cooking set, books and new mittens.
