Crazy Eggsters....

Emma was taking a little nap at this time, so Grace played with Aiden, and they were being so cute. Aiden is at the "on the go" stage in life, getting a picture is hard, but I did manage to get a few good ones along the way. I just follow them and shoot, and this is what I came up with. He loves to give his "cheese" smile, it is so him.... and that is what makes it that much cuter....

It is hard to believe the girls will be 4 next week, and Aiden will be 2 in June, WOW, time sure goes fast....

Easter moments....

We had a great Easter, not to busy.... it was nice. The girls were in great moods, they loved their dresses, and yes they sat perfect for pictures. "Wow, you have them trained" as my grandpa K would say.

We had a wonderful dinner at my moms (but whats new, it is always wonderful) then the girls played for a while with their cousin Andy who joined us with grandpa and grandma K. for the day. They got some new watercolor paints from Papa & Nana so we had to try those out, then they had an easter egg hunt, and they just had a fun day.

We then went to Corys grandparents for a few hours to visit, and eat some more. I just couldn't eat. I was still full from 4 hours prior, so I sat that meal out. Then the girls played with Aiden for a while.

We then came home and had some family time, we played their new ladybug game with them, and had a snack. The girls were in bed by 9:00, we weren't to far behind......

We found them....

Happy Easter everyone.....

Well this year the Easter bunny hid their baskets, as last year he just left them by the fireplace. Well, they found them, and quick.... They also really loved all the Easter Egg hunts this year, it was their favorite experience. Next year the bunny might need to have a few more eggs, and hide them a little better.

Touch of love....

Corys grandpa just takes it one more day after another. It is only a matter of time until the Good Lord takes him home to fly with him through what we can only imagine as a masterpiece of life. Yesterday we spent some time with him, which is now priceless to my husband. Him and his grandpa were always close, and he has spent a lot of time with him the last few weeks. He will go there for lunch or stop after work. You know me, I love to capture moments like this, I guess it is the photojournalistic person in me.....

Just another toy!!!

Is it me, or does it seem like all men seem to have more "TOYS" than us woman.
Well as my hubby would say.. "you love to shop", so that makes it a toy? Nope...
Well here is my hubby on his new toy (thanks to my sister & brother in law), his new Arctic Cat F7 snow PRO. It is the end of the season, a great deal, I could re-sell it if I have too, all the things I have heard for the last two weeks. Fine, you buy it, but I am not paying for it. So he bought it, went up north for the weekend with Emma, and then came home. Then there was no snow here, until Fri. He took advantage of the last two days of snow this weekend. He went out Friday by himself, and than all day Sat. with his buddy Chad, they did have a great time, and did a good deed along the way by helping a lady who turned her sled over.
Now it sits until next winter. It is cool, I like it too... I guess. I love speed too, just maybe not as much as him. It will get him through the winter, Emma likes it, and he has some buddies to ride with. A good reason for me to visit my sister more.
Honey, enjoy your new toy.....

Disney Day

This was the day we spent at Disney.

The first picture is Emmas highlight of the trip. It is hard to tell, but it is a picture of tinkerbell flying out of the castle during fireworks. She waited "all day" for that and it brought tears to my eyes because she was so excited and I was excited for her. If you know my daughter she is a tinkerbell fan.... Tinkerbell is a pixy and only peter pan sees her, so you can never meet her, and that is all she is at Disney... a flying pixy during fireworks. Here face was priceless, and thats all she needed to make her day.
One of my favorites is the one with the girls on Papa and daddys shoulder with their long awaited princess hats, they were watching the parade.

The close up pictures were taken by Grace and Emma with my camera while we were waiting for the "wishes and dreams" parade. They did pretty good, considering the camera is bigger than there head.

The one of the girls posing with there Disney shades on is while we were waiting for the Monsters on stage show.

Princess meets princess

This was the meet n' greet princess time @ toon town. They meet Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty and Belle.

The first time through we only took Grace, because Emma wanted to meet Donald and Mickey with PJ instead. Then when she seen the pictures of her sister with the princessess she wanted to go, so we had to go through the line again. The lines weren't bad at all at Disney. I think the longest we waited was 30 minutes, and that was for Dumbo and the princess meet. The rest were about 12-15 minute waits, not to bad. Grace was so excited when she walked into the room and saw the princesess. She got to talk to all of them and sit with them, it was very nice, no rush. She had a perm-a-grin the whole time. She told Cinderella how she was Cinderella just like her for Halloween. It was the highlight of Graces trip. Emma like it, but wasn't nearly as excited as Grace.

Shamu & Stingray

A few family pictures by Shamu, and Emma petting the stingray, I swear she is a boy.....

Florida

Well we just returned last night from our week in Florida. We woke up in Florida with 80 degrees and fell asleep in Michigan with 28 degrees, fun! It was a great trip.

We had a few days at the Florida house, a day at Sea World, a day at Animal Kingdom and 2 days at Magic Kingdom. My girls amaze Cory and I. They were amazing on the trip. They loved the flying part, traveled great in the car, and did great at the parks with the lines and slept awesome. We couldn't ask for anything more. It does get busy with all the kids in the house, but we all had our own bedroom and bath so that was awesome when it came to getting ready in the morning.

Emma loved Sea World and petting the stingray. She also loved tinkerbell as she flew out of the castle. Grace had a one on one time with all 3 princeses and she is still talking about it. Emma was into having ice cream every night and swimming whenever possible. They both wanted princess hats (yes they got them) and Cotton candy ( yes they got that too.) Grace loved the little hot tub attached to the pool. She actually never went in the big pool, she just hung out in the little hot tub all day.

My dad watched the boys for us which was nice, so they had alot of company all week. He ate at my neighbors a few nights, emailed a few of my friends and enjoyed TIVO, thanks dad for watching th boys!

The above pictures are Emma, PJ and Papa before we went into see Shamu, PJ being silly, Katie trying to say Walrus with a crazy face at the same time, Emma and Papa in the front cart of the rollar coaster (which she loved) and a cool picture from the dolphin show....

Fun Dip

Corys parents wanted to spend some time with the girls before we left for Florida. Cory was snowmobiling, and I had to work, so I said sure.... I ended up having a night to myself. They took the girls (aiden too) to the Fun Dip (in the holiday inn off 68th st.) for the night. As you can tell by the pictures they had a great time. When Corys parents dropped them off the next day they were so tired that they were in bed by 6:45, another free night for me because Cory was still snowmobiling. It sure is nice to have grandparents so invloved in the girls life, they love them deeply and it shows. It is great because our childhood was filled with both of our granparents as well. I wonder if we will be the same and follow 3 generations down?
