Beauti Control....

For those of you not familiar with Beauti Control, it is an awesome "SPA" business ran by woman. They have awesome products from eye cream to foot cream and make-up to skin care. As you know my mom is a consultant and has been for a while and I have recently started doing it with her. There is nothing better than having someone "bring the SPA to you." House of 10

Every year in the 3rd weekend of August is our Family weekend with my whole side of the family. We meet at Michigans adventure on Fri., go to the cottage after that, hang out on the lake Sat., and the guys go golfing on Sun. It is a yearly thing. Well this year it was cold and rainy on Sat. and Sun. So NO bathingsuits, sunblock or boats needed this year. I feel bad for my sister though, it is her 1 weekend away from the restaurants and it was a terrible weather weekend. We made the best of it, but a house of 10 gets crazy after a few days. These are a few pictures from our day at Michigans adventure, it was a little chilly in the water park, but the kids loved it. Katie took a snooze here and there while the other 3 rode all the rides. Next year will be better weather, we hope!

2 makes 4

We have had PJ & Katie for a week now, and adding 2 kids is a lot of work, but FUN! I forgot what double diaper duty was like when my 2 are out of diapers and my niece and nephew are still in diapers. My mom and Randy have had them over night the last week, and I have had them during the day a few days. So my mom must be whipped. That is just the beginning of it. We have our family weekend this weekend which we start at Michigans adventure and then head to the cottage for the weekend. PJ the big golfer learned how to play croquet, Katie loved the swingset (and playing with the bark.) I gave PJ a haircut and styled it like uncle Cory, of course I had my camera out so I shot a few pics of Katie in the grass, she is so darn cute. We don't get to see them as much as we would like, so this was good for us.

Why not take a BATH outside!!!!

It is 90 degrees out, the humidity is high, and my girls still want to be outside. So we told them they could go outside later tonight when it cooled down a little. It is almost dangerous to have them out in this weather. So after I got home from a photo session tonight of a family with 17 people and a senior picture session, we went outside, had snowcones with Lynne (daily routine around this place) and then we decided they needed a bath, so why not give them a bath outside. We have a hot/cold water tap in the garage, so I filled their pool with bubbles and warm water and away they went for about an hour or so. No more inside baths.... I can see this is way more fun. They get to slide while taking a bath, how cool is that?

While I was away!

I left for Dallas last week for a Beauti Control conference with my mom., and I decided not to bring the camera. This gave Cory a chance to man the camera for a while, (which doesn't happen very often). This is what he got. Aren't they cute! They are getting so tall the last 3 months, check out them legs. He had a great daughter/daddy weekend. They went to a car show, went shopping, out to lunch and just played around the house. It is good for them Daddys to do this every once in a while, no mom for 4 days!
