Watch Day

The first Wed. of the month is "watch Day" at Emma & Graces' dance class. So I went yesterday. I was wondering how they would do with me watching them in the room. They were great, it was as if I wasn't even there. Emma sometimes is in her own little world doing her own thing. Grace on the other hand is hamin' it up and is always volunteering when the teacher ask. They do a lot in 1 hour at this class, and it is a great group of girls. They do dice time were they practice the five steps in ballet. They each take turns rolling a big cloth pink dice. The number on the dice 1-5 that they roll they have to do the ballet step that matches the number they roll. If they get a 6 they get to pick which step they want to do. My girls did pretty good (as you can see by the last 2 pictures) besides a little arm and foot placement help, they did have the right idea. They do some tumbling, shuffle bar time, ballet and animal actions. It is a lot for these little girls, but it is great to see that they enjoy it so much.
